Concours/Wash-and-Shine
Hosted at the spectacular Tanoan Country Club, the concours/wash-and-shine is one of the high points of the weekend. Beautiful cars, beautiful setting, and beautiful people are part of the ambience as the cars sparkle below the magnificent Sandia Mountains. There are always a few rarities that capture people's attention and this is a great chance to show off the uniqueness of your own Porsche in a great venue.
Preparation for the concours d'Elegance will begin Friday morning in the north parking lot of the Sheraton.
The cars will be arriving at Tanoan between 1:00 and 2:00.
Judging will begin at 2:00 and complete around 4:00.
The brat and burger barbeque is scheduled to begin at 5:00. We expect the dinner to be over between 7:30 and 8:00 in time for attendees to get their cars off the green and back to the hotel. For the menu click here.
Or, if you love to show your car but want none of the stress associated with the white-gloved judges reaching around in your car, feel free to come, park, and just enjoy the day. There's no rule that says you have to compete.
