Old Town Walking Tour - History, Legends and Lore. (Short Tour)

This 75 minute walking tour will take you through the streets and alleys of one of the oldest towns in North America, founded in 1706. You'll learn about the American Indians that inhabited nearby pueblos and the Spanish Conquistadors who established Old Town while searching for mythical Seven Cities of Gold.
You'll discover the unusual and well hidden archectural details as well as interesting trivia and 
fun facts about Albuquerque, the Duke City. After the tour we'll enjoy lunch at the Quesadilla Grill www.quesadillagrille.com and be back at the Sheraton Hotel in plenty of time to wash our Porsches and get them over to Tanoan Country Club for the Concours D'Elegance and the brat and burger barbeque that follows.
We'll meet at the Sheraton Uptown Parking lot at 8:45 to drive to Old Town. The tour will begin at 9:30.
