Sunday will offer two Tours.

Jemez Pueblo Feast Tour (Long Tour )

Tour Leader Sean Cridland:

This will be a "two-in-one" tour that will allow drivers of both on- and off-road (Cayennes) vehicles a chance to play on the many features the Jemez Mountains have to offer. Starting from the hoste hotel, we'll cruise up I-25 to Bernalillo, then up scenic 550 to the the Jemez Country. We'll stop at Jemez Pueblo for an authentic Pueblo Indian feast, then head into some great scenic country. We'll visit the Gilman Tunnels (site of many movie scenes, including one in the recent version of 3:10 to Yuma) for a great photo op. That's where the Cayennes will split off for an off-road adventure. The road-going Porsches will drive up NM 4 through the Jemez Valley to La Cueva and the Valle Grande before doubling back to Fenton Lake, where they'll meet back up with the Cayennes. Once at our final destinations, we'll turn the tour-drivers loose to find their own ways back to Albuquerque.

Traditional Jemez Feast lunch: $15 per person. 8$ for kids.

High Road to Santa Fe (Short Tour)

Tour Leader Bob Blackwell:

My tour will be a pleasant alternative to the "quick zip up I-25 to Santa Fe".  We will meander up Central Ave and Historic Old Route 66 to The Turquoise Trail with a side trip up Sandia Crest Road for a view from the top of the Sandia Peak overlooking the Rio Grande Valley and Albuquerque.  Wandering on up The Turquoise Trail we will stop for a comfort break in the Old Mining Town of Madrid where quaint shops abound.  Arriving in Santa Fe there will be plenty of time for a relaxing lunch, shopping, or just browsing around the Plaza.  Total distance one-way is 90 miles and about two hours duration.  Return to Albuquerque via I-25 is about 55 miles and takes less than one hour.
